A custom desk pad adds a distinguished look to any office space and protects fine desk tops from scratch and wear.

This item features a border of spiraling oak leaves and features a miniature owl, a saw-whet, engraved at life size roosting in the upper right corner. All details are carved and tooled by hand deep into the 1/8th inch thick leather as well as brush dyed in strong contrast to enhance the appearance of the tooling. The design was hand drawn and is completely one of a kind, based off the particular interests of the individual it was designed for. I am also able to design similar pieces more specific to their user featuring items and motifs related to their life and field of work.
The desk pad provides an excellent writing surface. Firm with just enough give, allowing for neater and more comfortable handwriting.
On such large, uninterrupted pieces of leather some natural variation in the material and finish is to be expected. Further details on this in my shop FAQ further down the page. Examples of these sort of markings can be seen, unhidden, on this piece.
