This glasses sleeve is hand carved with a basket-weave pattern often seen in traditional American leathercraft, as a more modern feature, the center of each vertical reed has been decorated with a Celtic style braid pattern.
To protect delicate lenses, the interior has been lined with a soft pigskin suede suede. The outer layer is made from durable veg tan leather from the Hermann Oak Tannery, well known for its exceptional tooling properties.
The brilliant sunburst finish is applied using several pots of dye and a skillfully handled brush to blend them together.
This sleeve will provide dust and scratch protection but not crush protection. More robustly built glasses cases are available elsewhere in my shop.
